...Shadows of Hope

Just starting up... I'm planning on using this Xanga as a way to test out some of my writing... a continuing story which is partially fiction, but based probably about 50-75% on my life. While the beginning might seem dark, I think it will serve the same purpose as the darkness in our own lives, to show us the grandeur of the light beyond. But please, just read on, and judge for yourself.

I'm truly a fan of the French language, and have decided to write some chosen paragraphs in French, but I'll provide a translation(though if you can read the original, it would be preferred... such a beautiful language shouldn't go to waste...)

Anyway, I just wanted to get all the first steps out of the way, I'll try to post a "chapter" (about a handwritten page) a day til I catch up with what I have, then probably one every couple of days. I hope you enjoy it!
